Недавно мой друг Дмитрий съездил в Омск.
Recently my friend Dmitry went to Omsk.
Раньше он жил только в Москве и думал, что все города в России похожи на столицу.
Before, he had only lived in Moscow and thought that all cities in Russia are similar to the capital.
Но поездка в Омск его удивила.
But the trip to Omsk surprised him.
Дмитрий рассказывает, что в Омске люди живут медленнее и спокойнее.
Dmitry says that in Omsk people live more slowly and more calmly.
Там нет огромных пробок и толп на улицах.
There are no huge traffic jams or crowds on the streets.
Он ходил по местным рынкам и пробовал сибирскую кухню.
He walked around local markets and tried Siberian cuisine.
Ему очень понравились уха и пельмени.
He really liked the fish soup and pelmeni.
В Москве такие блюда тоже есть, но в Омске они вкуснее, потому что продукты свежие.
In Moscow such dishes also exist, but in Omsk they are tastier, because the ingredients are fresh.
