Сегодня я первый раз готовлю салат оливье.
Today I’m making Olivier salad for the first time.
В России это очень популярный салат.
It’s a very popular salad in Russia.
Я беру картошку, морковь, яйца, огурцы, зелёный горошек и майонез.
I take some potatoes, carrots, eggs, cucumbers, green peas and mayonnaise.
Сначала я варю картошку, морковь и яйца.
First, I boil the potatoes, carrots and eggs.
Потом режу всё на маленькие кусочки.
Then I cut everything into small pieces.
Добавляю горошек и майонез.
I add the peas and mayonnaise.
Всё хорошо смешиваю.
I mix everything well.
Вечером мы с семьёй садимся за стол и пробуем салат.
In the evening, my family and I sit down at the table and try the salad.
Мама улыбается: «Очень вкусно!»
Mom smiles and says, “It’s delicious!”
Я тоже улыбаюсь.
I smile too.
Мой первый оливье готов!
My first Olivier salad is ready!
Теперь я знаю, что готовить на Новый год!
