Моя первая поездка в Московском метро

Сегодня я впервые еду на Московском метро.

Today I am riding the Moscow metro for the first time.

Я вхожу на станцию «Киевская» и сразу замечаю красивые мозаики на стенах.

I enter the “Kievskaya” station and immediately notice beautiful mosaics on the walls.

Люди спешат, почти никто не улыбается.

People are in a hurry, almost no one is smiling.

Я чувствую лёгкое волнение — здесь всё быстро и шумно.

I feel slight anxiety — everything here is fast and noisy.

Эскалатор длинный, и мне кажется, что он никогда не закончится.

The escalator is long, and it seems to me that it will never end.

Когда поезд приезжает, двери открываются резко, и я захожу внутрь.

When the train arrives, the doors open suddenly, and I go inside.

В вагоне чисто, но тесно.

In the carriage it’s clean but cramped.

Я держусь за поручень и стараюсь не мешать другим.

I hold onto the handrail and try not to bother others.

Вокруг много звуков — объявления, разговоры, шум колёс.

Around me are many sounds — announcements, conversations, the noise of wheels.

Несмотря на всё это, я чувствую гордость: я в Москве, я сам еду по городу.

Despite all this, I feel pride: I am in Moscow, I am riding through the city on my own.

Метро помогает мне почувствовать себя частью большого и живого мира.

The metro helps me feel like part of a big and vibrant world.
